We stayed several nights at Rosewood and we loved it! The house was beyond our expectations. Everything was clean, tidy and well stocked. Plenty of linens, a well stocked kitchen, and a cozy living room. We loved spending time in the back yard. It was scented with orange blossoms and flowers. And it could not have been easier to book! Kathleen was so gracious, helpful and responsive. There was even a sweet welcome basket upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here again.

A group of us chose this home because it was 8 minutes away from the Rose Bowl. We weren't expecting too much since we chose it for convenience but goodness is this home stunning. Great sized rooms, great communication, and honestly overall just a great spot. The hosts were amazing and were so quick to respond to any questions I had and were super accommodating as well. My friends and I aren't rowdy people at all so it was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood and in the evenings we felt comfortable enough to just chat and relax. Overall if you need a place for an event that's located at the Rose Bowl, this is perfect. Great location, great hosts, and even the pricing is really fair. Highly recommend.

We came to town for a family emergency and stayed at Rosewood for 2 weeks. It was a stressful time but this lovely home was such a respite from our crazy days. It's comfortable, spacious and quiet/peaceful. It had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for having us!

So many sunny, warm days spent in the backyard visiting and dining with friends. The pergola is also a great place for backyard birding and reading. Our Goldendoodle loves the fenced in yard and spends many hours chewing sticks and bones and exploring.
The property owner and management company are very attentive to needs and problems that may arise. Kate is wonderful to work with.
The neighborhood is safe for walking the dog. Friendly neighbors are a bonus.
The house is central for the many activities we enjoy - Huntington Gardens, Norton Simon Museum, Descanso Gardens, LA Arboretum and
downtown Pasadena. Many surrounding ethnic restaurants for dining in, take out or delivery.
Rosewood is a gem of a place for a relaxing get-away!

The home is clean, well equipped and has plenty of space to relax. Very nice back yard and patio for morning coffee.

Overall, we had a nice stay at this location. The property was very quaint and cozy in a quiet neighborhood and the backyard was very peaceful. The kitchenware could use a thorough cleaning as much of was sticky and dirty (plus we could have used more of it. Staying for a week, we cooked quite a lot and were resigned to using strange methods to accomplish simple dishes). It was a bit dusty in certain areas that been unattended to for some time. We could not figure out how to get hot water from the shower in the Master bedroom so we were forced to shower in the 2nd bathroom. The backyard was full of dog poo upon arrival so that wasn't fun to clean up. We slept very comfortably in the wonderful beds. The restrictive A/C warning of keeping it above 78 degrees was a little concerning on days when the temperature was almost 100 but never became a real issue as long as the fans were all on. The back gate was also a challenge to keep closed (our doggies could open it with their noses). Overall, it was very comfortable with some minor improvements needed that won't hinder a future stay. Nice interiors, space to breathe, peaceful backyard.

Pros: Charming home in older community. Master bedroom and bathroom are amazingly well renovated! Backyard is fun and comfortable. The house overall is very sweet and well done. The kitchen and dining room are so sweet. Other 2 bedrooms are a good size. Plenty of towels and extras, with washer and dryer. Less than an hour from LAX and Disneyland.
Cons: The only downside is the neighborhood. More sketchy than I’m comfortable with. Barely slept. Forced to drive everywhere. Not conducive to waking safely for coffee or a bite to eat.

Rosewood exceeded my expectations. I brought my wife and dog on my business trip. Rosewood was great for them. They relaxed in the backyard and soaked in the sun in the serene setting. I will go back.

Kathleen was wonderful to us. I so much prefer Vacation living to Air B&B as they gave us such great personal service. Not only were the houses wonderful, clean and spacious but Kathleen made sure that we were personally taken care of. We had a lot of difficulty finding a good place for our two dogs and my handicapped husband. That search was so difficult, but Kathleen made sure that we had just the right place for all of us. We are so grateful for all her help and will definitely use this company again and again.

Rosewood was a great place to stay for 6 weeks. The house was very clean and was easy to maintain during our stay. Several friends visited and were
impressed with the layout of the bedrooms and the two complete bathrooms.
We really enjoyed the totally fenced in back yard with its eating patio.
Our small Goldendoodle was able to run and explore freely. The lemons and fresh oranges from the backyard trees were picked and enjoyed.
The neighborhood was safe for walking our dog three times a day and the neighbors were friendly.
We so enjoyed having the San Gabriel mountains so close with
gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.
A lot of time was spent birding with the Pasadena Audubon as well as
visiting The Huntington Gardens and Museums, Descanso Gardens, Asian Art and Norton Simon Museums, the LA Arboretum, CalTech lectures and concerts, etc...
Management for this property was very attentive and helpful and kind.
We really enjoyed Rosewood and the Altadena/Pasadena area. We will be back!

My husband and I live in Glendale, CA and we were looking for a place for our 2 yr old and 2 dogs while we were prepared our home to list. Kate and Kathleen were our guardian angels! (We originally found another property on VRBO that was part of the Vacation Living collection, but after seeing the dates we needed and the amount of furry and human family members, they recommended this property, which was a wonderful fit). It was such a blessing to have such a beautiful, clean, cozy and yet spacious place to come back to amidst the hectic goings-on of preparing a home for sale. The rental was conveniently located and the home itself had nice sized rooms, an incredibly spacious master bedroom & bath and a beautiful backyard for our pups and baby (not to mention some really delicious citrus trees--our toddler had a blast picking the fruit!)
We enjoyed our stay so much that we made a second reservation for an additional 9 nights (27 nights total). We had to move out between reservations as there was a previous one that was booked for the weekend in between and Kate and Kathleen offered to let us store some items in the locked closet so we didn't have to move everything out (truly so kind!).
I am so grateful to both of them and this property. It was hard not being in our home, but having this rental to stay in made it feel like we were in our own home.
A couple of tips that were helpful: booking through this site versus other sites helped with some of the admin fees.
Access to the backyard was a huge need for us with the pups and baby. The master bedroom has french doors so you can let them out also there is a door in the hallway that you can also access the backyard. The sides can be accessed from the front or the driveway, so to prevent the pups from wandering when we were outside we put up our baby gate up and it remedied that for us.
Would definitely stay here again and would so gladly rent from Vacation Rentals.

We had to find a replacement rental quick and Kathleen came to our rescue. Great experience working with her in getting into her rental.
- Susan C. from Antioch, Posted: 09/28/2017
The home was nice and very comfortable. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and close enough to Pasadena for shopping and dining.
Clean home with a big master bedroom. Nice sized yard and patio, but the patio furniture needed a cleaning.
We liked that It was a very bright home, with lots of windows and natural light, but the kitchen window and back glass door did not have window coverings for privacy at night. Also, some of the kitchen pans and utensils were very worn.
Aside from a few things that needed a little TLC, overall we were happy with the home and our stay.

it was fantastic!
- Anonymous from York , Posted: 08/07/2016
Easy to book and access. The freezer's ice dispenser was frozen but there were trays in the cabinet to use. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Some of the chairs need replacing but other wise the condition of the house was good. Some of the doors (front and closet) took some muscle to open and close. They made sure the grill had plenty of propane which was great since we grilled a lot and the back yard was a nice retreat. It was only 15 minutes to Cal Tech which was great.

We enjoyed staying at Rosewood, we found the property as we expected from the website information. The location was central for the places we wanted to visit. The neighborhood was nice to walk in and the yard of the home was well-tended and pretty, picking delicious oranges off the tree was fun. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked and all worked well. The beds were comfortable, as was the heating and cooling system. We had good storage for our things, plus lots of hangers! We ate at the dining room table and found the chairs saggy and stained. We used the throw pillows from the sofa for extra lift and that worked well. I very much liked the dishes and glassware, all sorts of useful cookware and appliances were available. The house book made many details very clear, especially where to find things. It is the most thoughtful, easy to read "how things work" book that I have found in a vacation rental. We used the sofa and TV a lot, both are big and inviting. We had trouble figuring out the TV/cable, but Jennifer helped us to get it working. We continued to have trouble with the volume of the TV. We are all in our 60's and 70's, but the volume varied and shows I have watched before were somewhat difficult to understand. Perhaps having the TV mounted on the wall affects the speakers, a sound bar might help. We all used the big sofa and wing chair, but also found them soft and saggy. We used the big square pillows off the beds to pad the seats and backs, which helped. Jennifer called us on our second to day to check on how the house was working out. She helped us with two questions. I have never had an owner/manage call us just to check before, it was very amazing. She also let us check in a little early. I would recommend this property to friends gladly.

We rented Rosewood for our family of six for our nephew's wedding. It was about 15 - 20 minutes from all of the activities for the weekend. The house had everything we needed, was well kept and the backyard was great, especially with the warm LA weather. I would say that it would have accommodated 3 couples better than 6 individuals since two people sleeping in the living room was less than ideal. However, for two nights it was doable and did not impede our experience. The master bedroom is quite large and we used if for storing many suitcases and for getting ready to go out. I think the lighting could be brighter in the master bathroom and living room although we functioned okay with what was there. We cooked a family breakfast on Sunday and ate outside which was lovely. My sister-in-law wished there had been large skillet for the eggs but she made do with the wok. We are used to being able to walk to places where we live, which is not the case here. However, once we were in old town Pasadena, it was lovely walking around and everything we wanted was available - great restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this home for a family stay.

The master bed was very comfortable. The heat wave was pretty tough but we had a good stay. The house was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Would stay here again.
- Chris M. from Houston, Posted: 09/06/2017
This house was in a great location and was ideal for our stay for the cross fit semi finals. The master bedroom was a dream in size and comfort. The kitchen and dining room was ideal for staying in and being able to cook our own meals. The closed in backyard was private and we loved the covered outdoor dining. We found this house charming and clean with the amenities we needed. The house provided adequate towels and linens. I was not impressed with the quality of the bed sheets. They were rather rough and not too comfy although.
Our only other critique would be the t.v streaming service was not up to date and we could not get good viewing options. Overall, very pleased and would happily book this home again if returning to Pasadena.

Rosewood met all our needs and I would recommend it to anyone having business in Pasadena.
- Neil R. from Mililani, Posted: 02/24/2016
Excellent stay. The house was exactly as described. It was close to where we needed to be - Pomona one day and downtown Pasadena on another. The house was clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi was good (had a little difficulty signing in the first time but the property manager responded promptly). I would definitely rent again if we are ever back in this area.
- Anonymous from Parker, Posted: 05/28/2016
We enjoyed this charming house so much. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches like toys for the kids, wine and treats on arrival, extra towels and linens, and cute accessories all around the house. We will definitely book again for our next visit to Southern California.
- Cassie D. from LAS VEGAS, Posted: 07/28/2022
The area was fantastic. About 15-20 min away from all the northern neighborhoods (Glendale, Pasadena, etc), and very quiet street, with nice neighbors. The spaces are very big and the yard is great if you bring your pup along.
The only buts I will mention is that besides the big sofa (this is a huge plus for movie nights), the furniture is a bit old, especially the dining chairs. Not the most comfortable to work from home. The Roku is also not updated, so there's no Hulu or Disney+, and the streaming services available are very outdated.
Other than that, if you're planning to just crash and watch some movies, this is a great spot!

We had a wonderful time! The home is very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary equipment to cook family meals. The backyard was an added bonus, we enjoyed several meals at the outside dining table. Would certainly book again!

An overall great experience, we were very nervous because we had never vacationed like this before. Kate was more than helpful! Some maintenance does need to be done to property, back door is broken, couch in the living room has really seen better days. We would come back.

We were traveling with two 89 year olds and a dog, so finding a place where there was a shower to step easily into, and a yard for the dog was important. We loved this place. Everything you needed was there. Charming, great location, clean and the staff even called to make sure all ways okay. Would rent again.

We stayed at Rosewood for 3 days. It was comfortable and clean. Rosewood was stocked with everything we needed. It was kid friendly. I would only suggest that it is about time to get new mattresses as they were only ok, not the best.
- Anonymous from null, Posted: 09/30/2024
We recently stayed in Rosewood during a one-week family trip to LA. From the moment we walked into the house, everything was perfect and everyone (mom, dad, four kids ages 6-16) loved it! Fruit trees in the back yard provided fresh oranges and lemons every day. Bedrooms were very comfortable and, along with enormous living room sectional, 6 slept comfortably for a week.
We did plenty of hikes in the nearby canyons and enjoyed many other sites in the Pasadena and wider LA area.
- Anonymous from Silver Spring, Posted: 07/11/2022
This rental was exactly how it was described. It had a great location in a nice area of town. It was a short drive to the L.A. Zoo, Hollywood, grocery stores, and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This location was great for my family. We had a 4 and 7 year old. They enjoyed the fenced in backyard and picking oranges from the trees. It is well priced for what You get!

Easy check in.
Great communication.
Plenty of space, very comfortable.
Loved the long driveway.
House was clean and fully stocked with all supplies.
Air mattress would not hold air. Wish the backyards to the 2 properties had a gate.
- Anonymous from Aurora, Posted: 08/28/2015
The home has thoughtfulness built in. It was clean, spacious, quiet, with touches of luxury: supremely comfortable beds, a basting brush in the kitchen drawer -- we glazed a ham in the oven.
The property is well maintained. Communication with Kathleen was always prompt and direct.
The back yard was green with bountiful citrus trees -- the outdoor furniture fine for a family gathering or business meetings (we had both).
- Janelle T. , Posted: 04/09/2015
The home was cute and cozy, but one of the bathrooms needs updating the other bathroom toilet was not cleaned properly when we checked in. Ice maker on fridge doesn't work. Had issues with wifi while staying there, signal kept going off. Loved the backyard...overall ok

This is a lovely home! We were there for only 5 days, but it was perfect for us. We traveled with our son, his wife and two young children. Our little ones loved the back yard and were enchanted by being able to pick an orange from the tree. The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linens. The property was spotlessly clean. My interaction with the management person was professional yet very friendly. We would absolutely rent here again.

We had a last-minute change in housing plans and were so lucky this home happened to have an opening. It was a perfect fit for what we needed. It's a spacious home with a beautiful, peaceful backyard. And we loved that they included games and books for kids! It was clean and matched the photos. The management was wonderful about checking in. Would absolutely recommend!

This charming well-kept house was a delight to stay in. We were in Pasadena for our daughter's wedding and still had much prep work to do. It was awesome to have a home that provided baking tools, a large table to complete decoration prep and comfy beds and showers for our weary bodies. It was like home for us. This home provides all you need for a relaxing stay in the area.

We stayed at the Rosewood property for five nights. There were six adults and an infant. The house looks small from the front, but was surprisingly spacious inside. The master bedroom and bath were huge, with a comfortable king bed. The other two rooms were smaller, with queen size beds. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and a nice backyard to enjoy as well. Everything was well stocked, and a plumbing issue that arose was addressed immediately by management. I would stay at this property again.

My family had a wonderful stay in Rosewood during the past one month. We appreciated the timely and generous help of Kathleen during our stay. We were also impressed with the sound facilities in this house, the beautiful environment, the rich community activities in Alta Dema Park, the friendly neighbors and the super sweet grapes and oranges in the backyard. BTW, the commodities in the Super King's Market nearby were amazingly cheap!! If there is something needs to be improved,I would say that you'd better drive away those ants who took us as their snacks at night. Anyway, I still thank God that we could luckily live in Rosewood and had an unforgettable stay there during our summer vacation!

It`s a wonderful place to stay for my family. We lived here 4,5 months and thought we were at home the entire time. I would recommend anyone who wants to stay in Altadena this house. And I want to thank the staff for their prompt assistance in solving all the problems.

This 40s style bungalow has old-fashioned charm combined with modern comforts. The master bedroom and bath are particularly spacious and updated. The kitchen was well equipped (the agency had even left us snacks for our stay) and the dining table easily accommodated our group of six. The front bedrooms, however, were very small as was the front bath. But it all worked! The only thing we couldn't operste was the TV. Just as well; we talked instead. We would come back to this house!
- Martha W. from LOS GATOS, Posted: 05/20/2015
We were very happy we rented the house. Our entire family was able to be with each other, get ready for the wedding we came down for, our 2 year old grandson was able to play & ride his bike in the backyard. There possible could have been more serving dishes & tupperware type disposable dishes for leftovers. All of us had complaints about the mattresses on the beds (might want to upgrade those) but all in all, we were pretty happy to have the house. Thankyou!!! I would recommend it.
- GEORGE B. from TUOLUMNE, Posted: 09/08/2014
This home provided the perfect place for our extended family to gather, enjoy meals together and visit while in town for a graduation. It was clean, comfortable and a pleasant space. We would have loved the backyard spaces had we not been there in extremely hot weather.
- Anonymous from Sacramento, Posted: 05/24/2017
We loved the house! The location was great! The decor was comfortable. The kitchen was decently equipped. The yard was great. My only two complaints are that the couch bed (included in the "sleeps 8") was terribly uncomfortable and the mattress should be replaced if it is going to be counted as a bed, and that the little play yard in the back would have been Greg for my 1 year old son but it had t been cleaned in a while. though I recommend improving those things, I still would recommend the property.

We spent a week here with family to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was spacious and comfortable for us to spend time together, especially the backyard, living room, and dining room. The kitchen needs some repairs - especially the cabinets (many were broken). Many pots and pans were dirty. The appliances in the house are incredibly loud and disruptive - especially the washing machine. The beds were ok - some more comfortable than others. Pillows were terrible. Other amenities (kids stuff, bathroom stuff, etc) need updates. Management company was very responsive to issues and addressed concerns on the day of - even dropped off a new coffee machine on Thanksgiving day. Great customer service, and easy enough to get around the area. The house and appliances just need some TLC.
- Anonymous from San Francisco, Posted: 12/05/2021
We enjoyed a nice visit. The property was convenient to our family and provided enough room to have family visits. We’ve stayed at this property previously and look forward to future stays.
Rosewood is beginning to show its age. For example, the dinning room chairs were well worn and need replacing. The water to the master bathroom took a long time to heat up. We could see efforts being made by the homeowner to make improvements to the property. For example the front bathroom has bee updated ad is very nice. With some TLC this property will quickly recover its charm.
Our property manager is delightful to work with. She learned of our desire to celebrate all the holidays we missed with family during COVID and provided us with some fun decorations to add to our enjoyment.

This is a legitimate company for those of you who are a little sceptical like i was due to my first renting a vacation home. Absolutely loved my week stay i have no complaints. The house was kid friendly with a 7year old and 7month old. Loved the orange tree in the back yard. The beds where beyond comfortable. Can't wait until my next trip bc I'll most definitely use Vacation Living LA and all the rest. Thanks Kat for your professionalism.

We stayed here in order to be close to the Rosebowl Stadium. It was perfect for what we needed. Enough room for 5 Adults and 2 small children (plenty of space for more if needed) the kids slept in the provided air mattress in the GIANT master bedroom. They loved exploring the lush backyard. Kitchen was well-stocked for dishes, appliances, several pantry staples. Neighborhood was easy to navigate and incredibly peaceful. Home was clean and as described... roomier than the pictures lead on. Definitely read the guide book for tips. Owner checked in by phone to make sure everything was in order. They even left a little basket of goodies upon arrival for us. Absolutely would recommend!

Bed was great!
We enjoyed our stay in Altadena. We loved having our grand dog visit with us. The back yard is a gem in LA area. Plenty of fresh fruit trees and space for our dog. Contrary to some reviews, this house did not smell and the bed was great. The pillows had a bit to be desired but we layered them. The spacious master suite was great. Some of the light bulbs in the shower especially we still out but we managed. Easy access to the highway, good parks and great hikes. This was a great find for our family. I recommend it.

We had a lovely Christmas stay at Rosewood. Everything was well organized with guests in mind. The kitchen was well equipped, the extra chairs in every room much appreciated and the outdoor space was lovely for a Christmas brunch. The house was well located and close to Christmas Tree Lane. The staff at Vacation Living was very responsive both before and during our stay. The large dining room table was great for a festive dinner.

House is very cute, beds and couch are comfortable. There was plenty of space for my family of 8. House was also very clean. Communication was great. I appreciated the accommodation of a slightly earlier check in. Kitchen amenities could use an upgrade. The pots & pans were a bit beat up. But everything was in total working order. It was in the 90's when we stayed so the instructions not to turn the A/C on below 76 was a little rough. But there were ceiling fans in every room and we were gone during the day so we did okay. My whole family loved the house. We enjoyed a big family dinner and game night around the large dining table that fit us all comfortably. We would be thrilled to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Rosewood. We were only a party of two people, but it would be very comfortable for six adults. It was very clean upon check-in and came with a wonderful welcome basket with wine and special treats. Nice touch. Kitchen is nicely appointed and the rooms are large, especially the master suite which has a large bathroom and great walk-in shower. Water pressure perfect. The home is on a quiet street and conveniently located to get you to Pasadena or other points in LA very easily. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

Loved the house, lots of comfortable room to spread out. The outdoor space was nice although the weather did not cooperate. The backyard is not fully fenced. We received excellent customer service. It was very convenient to the Pasadena area where we have family.

We were in town for a wedding so we needed a space that would accommodate 4 adults, 3 toddlers (<5), and a baby comfortably. This place fit the bill! The space was large enough for the children to roam freely but not so large that the parents had to be on high alert. The background sitting area with grassy yard and small playground was perfect to run down some energy. We went to the Kid Space museum, a few local parks, Target for supplies, and a few local restaurants. We were able to drive everywhere within 10 to 15 minutes including the wedding. Great taco places nearby and we were able to buy some pre-marinated meats at the Mexican market to host a taco night (using the backyard grill) for the grandparents and family. There were just enough toys, puzzles, and games stashed in the toy chest to keep the kids engaged. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We booked Rosewood for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. In advance and during VacationLiving communicated clearly and promptly (we had confusion with Roku, that they responded to immediately on weekend). The house is nicely fitted out, comfortable, with a beautiful open backyard. Appreciate Roku/Netflix for the kids. Internet was excellent -- supported numerous Zoom meetings. The location is very convenient to Pasadena and freeways. Quiet neighborhood. All is all was a perfect place for us.

Place was exactly as described (nice) and close to the Rose Bowl which we went to when Gophers played UCLA

Rented this house for my family's stay for my son's wedding. The house was clean, bright, great back yard. BUT as everyone prepared for the ceremony during our showers, water backed up and the toilet overflowed! Critically poor timing. I believe that was an isolated incident though horrible timing!

My family had a wonderful time at Rosewood House during our one-month stay in LA. First of all, Kathleen is a very helpful and kind-hearted landlord. She helped us timely and generously when we just arrived. She even allowed us to stay for one night before
we left for Guangzhou! We appreciated her kindness very much! So was the housekeeper! Secondly, the house is surrounded with beautiful environment. The friendly neighbors, the lovely squirrels, the sweet grapes and oranges, the pretty gardens and rich community
activities•••We were deeply impresses by all these nice things. The only thing that needs to be improved is that there were some unfriendly ants which bit us terribly at night. But I still thank Lord that we could luckily live in such an awesome place in Altadena.
If we could spend our summer vacation in LA next year, we'll definitely choose Rosewood again!

We came into Pasadena for my nieces wedding. She was married in Pasadena and this house was a great location for us. My parents enjoyed the large master bathroom and privacy. The back yard was great for our kids to play in too. My wife enjoyed her morning walks around the neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Hopefully we have a reason to come back!

Good house for a family vacation in the Los Angeles greater area, specifically Altadena (north of Pasadena). Close to NASA JPL and Rose Bowl. For the other destinations, a car is required. The company staff is very helpful and the property is in good condition. We will definitely consider staying there again and we recommend it to parties with at most 6 persons.

My family of 4 rented the Rosewood home in Altadena for 3 nights in Oct to celebrate my father's 90th birthday with other family members who live nearby. We chose this property and location due to: 1) it is close proximity to my father's apartment & other relatives, 2) it has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms that comfortably accommodated my two adult children, husband and me, 3) it is 1 level (my father uses a walker), and 4) the interior lay-out, patio, backyard area, and gas grill for a family reunion/birthday party for 25 people.
The master bedroom, bath and walk-in closet were all huge. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The beds in the 2 other rooms were also nice, but the only complaint was that the mattresses were a bit too soft. One of the bedrooms has a tv too. The house has a total of 3 tvs with cable & Roku.
The 2 bedrooms share a full bath, that is small, but it worked out just fine.
The living room, kitchen and dining area were all good size and comfortable. Added bonus was a full size washer and dryer.
The backyard was also huge and had a nice patio area with a good size gas BBQ.
There was ample parking in the driveway and in front of the house.
The neighborhood was quiet and just ok. It isn't really in walking distance to any sights, but it is a short drive to the 210 freeway, the Rose Bowl and not too far from Old Town Pasadena, which makes it a convenient location.
I would definitely stay at Rosewood again if traveling with my family of 4 again due to its proximity to my relatives who live in the area and it's good value.
Also a shout out for Kathleen, the contact for the property rental. She was very helpful and great to work with when making the reservation!

We loved our stay at Rosewood. The house was so comfortable for our family and the backyard was lovely! The walk in closet in the primary bedroom was a perfect small bedroom for our youngest child. What made the stay even better was the incredible responsiveness from the property manager, Kate and homeowner, Kathleen. Any question or need we had was answered immediately and with a smile. I would absolutely stay at Rosewood again if we come to the area, and would absolutely rent from Vacation Living again, without hesitation. Happy holidays Kate and Kathleen and a huge thank you for everything you did to make our stay perfect.

Rosewood is a beautiful suburban home minutes from downtown Pasadena and the interstate system of Los Angeles. A large supermarket is a couple blocks away. The master suite is enormous with a walk-in closet of equal size. The double sink bathroom and the
11-outlet shower make showering an adventure. There is a cozy four-seat sitting area on the patio outside the master suite as well as an 8-seat area for picnicking under a pergola in the backyard. We picked fresh lemons, tangerines, and limes from the trees
in the yard for our dining and beverages. This plethora of seating allowed us to host our son's wedding party for a Thanksgiving feast that seemed uncrowded. The large, flat-screen televisions in every bedroom as well as the living room allow younger guests
something to do, although there were plenty of kids' toys in the chest in the living room. The four-burner gas range, full-size oven, and enormous kitchen counter space made cooking a Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. We kept hearing a mysterious metallic noise
in the garbage disposer, and despite our attempts at finding a foreign object, we were stumped. Within minutes of our call to the management, there was a handy man over who discovered a misplaced penny from a previous visitor. All-in-all this was a perfect
setting for a wonderful holiday!
